Routine Appointments

To allow the best outcomes it is requested that patients do not store up a list of problems and present these to the GP. It is usual that GP's can manage several problems within the standard appointment but multiple issues can result in patient/GP frustration. Making a second appointment may be requested by the GP to allow appropriate time to consider medical issues.

Emergency Appointments:

Requests for emergency appointments will be triaged by a Doctor on a daily basis.

Out of Hours:

Please note that after 6.00pm and throughout the night until 8.30am, weekends and public holidays, 'Out of Hours' cover is provided. To access this service please telephone 028 9182 2344.

Further Information:
Appointments - The practice operates an appointment system for all surgeries. These appointments are arranged with the receptionist for a Doctor or Nurse of your choice but if you want to be seen quickly you may have to accept whichever Doctor or Nurse who is available.

In urgent cases patients will always be seen at short notice but this may result in delays for those waiting and those who have an appointment.

To ensure smooth running without unnecessary delays, please try to remember to make an appointment for each person to be seen;
i.e. one patient = one appointment.

Always try to inform the surgery as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment so it can be given to another patient.

Telephone Calls - GP will be available for take calls between 11.30am - 12.15pm and again from 2.00pm - 2.30pm.

Any calls outside these times will result in the receptionist requesting your telephone number and putting it on a list. The Doctors will return the call when time permits.

Urgent or emergency calls will be dealt with immediately.
